Hi! I'm so glad you stopped by my little corner of the world.

I'm a story seller and a storyteller. I write Biblical Fiction (and some children’s books), and I own two magical stores in two beautiful towns. I split my time between the gorgeous mountains of Western North Carolina and the Lowcountry of South Carolina. I’m a lucky girl!

I’m a big cheerleader for Christian Fiction. I wish more indie bookstores realized how wonderful this genre really is and gave more shelf space to it. Come by my stores. We have a lot! I’m also fortunate to call many of those authors friends. That happens when you go to lots of writing conferences and skip all the classes to hang out in the coffee shop. Lots of “mingling” time! Seriously, I love authors and I love books and I love talking about both.

I keep saying I’m going to start a bookish podcast, and maybe this is the year! I tend to have a lot of “Susanne” ideas that are not “God” ideas, so we will see how it goes. My mind goes back to last year when I talked my husband into buying a beautiful five-bedroom Victorian house so I could do book retreats, and then God said, “Not so fast, young lady.” We are still trying to figure out what to do with it.  I’m a dreamer. What can I do?
