Strengthen those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees. Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.” Isaiah 35: 3-4 (NLT)
Isaiah 35 is such a beautiful illustration of the blessings coming for all of us who follow Him. My bible calls the chapter Hope for Restoration. Yes, God’s Kingdom will one day be redeemed and glorious, but He still works for your good now, today, in this very moment.
I’ve been praying over the sweet souls who have joined Grace Rising and who are sharing their hurt with each other there. God’s people are suffering, scared, broken. Many have fractured relationships that desperately need mending. Some are on the verge of homelessness and hopelessness. Others have lost their loved one, are drowning in grief and struggling to get through each day. So many hurting. So many lost.
But the beautiful thing is that they are there, in the Facebook group, reaching out to one another, asking for prayer and believing that the God of All Things will hear. And the ones that just asked for help and hope are in turn giving it to someone else.
God tells us to be strong and do not be afraid for He is coming! He will destroy our enemies. He will strengthen our hands and quiet our fearful hearts. He is doing that today, tomorrow and for all time.
On Grace Rising, we ask for prayer requests each evening. If you have a need, please come and let us know. Receive prayer and in turn, please pray for others.
